Goa Shipyard Limited, a Public Sector Company under the Ministry of Defense, is presently engaged in the activities of designing and building special purpose modern sophisticated ships for the Navy ,
Coast Guard, Commercial and Export segment. The Company is looking for the following personnel.
No of Posts : 04
Scale of Pay : Rs. 4200-80-4600-85-5025-95-6925.
Upper Age Limit : 28-Upper age limit as on 01.03.2009 is 28 years
Essential Qualification: National Apprentice Certificate in the trade of Electronics Mechanic or National Trade Certificate (ITI/NTC) in the trade of Electronics Mechanic with 2 years experience in the line. Desirable Qualification : Certificate course in Computer Hardware and experience in repairing PC/IT products and Net working. Certification in Microsoft.
Experience: Handling Internet, Intranet, IT Hardware/ Software, IT Asset Housekeeping & Services related to IT applications.

General: (Out of 04 posts 02 will be filled on fixed term basis for 02 years)
NOTE :
i) Candidates having more experience in the relevant field and otherwise fulfilling the eligibility criteria may be considered for age relaxation at the discretion of the Management.
ii) Candidates working in Government / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel.
iii) Management reserves the right to raise the eligibility criteria for short listing the applications.
iv) The selected candidates shall work in shifts.
