Goa Shipyard Limited, a Public Sector Company under the Ministry of Defense, is presently engaged in the activities of designing and building special purpose modern sophisticated ships for the Navy ,
Coast Guard, Commercial and Export segment. The Company is looking for the following personnel.
Post: Senior Engineer (Electrical / Electronics /Electronics & Telecommunication)
No of Posts : 01
Scale of Pay : 8600-250-14600 * The Pay scales are under upward revision w.e.f. 01.01.2007.
Upper Age Limit : 35 years
Essential Qualification:
B.E./ B.Tech (Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering) from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 1 year of post qualification experience for Senior Engineer in the area of design or production in the shipbuilding industry / medium / large shipbuilding yard/ Electrical & Electronics equipment manufacturing industry. Experience in Design /Planning/Quality Control inspecting functions and statistical analysis/ Production is preferable. Also experience in handling Govt. correspondences, project reporting, analyzing data & preparation of Budgets is desirable.
Experience: 1 year of post qualification experience for Senior Engineer in the area of design or production in the shipbuilding industry / medium / large shipbuilding yard/ Electrical & Electronics equipment manufacturing industry.
