the following post to discharge the duties as “Overman” as required under Coal
Mines Regulations, 1957.
Post: Junior Engineer Grade-II (Mining)
Grade: S2
No. of Posts: 50 (SC-9, OBC-13, UR-28)
Scale of Pay (Due for upward revision w.e.f. 01-01-2007): Rs.6050-170-10130
Qualification:
(I) Diploma of Three years duration in Mining Engineering from a
recognized Institution (With 60% marks for UR/OBC and 50% marks for
SC/ST) and
(II) Possession of Overman Certificate of Competency issued by Director
General of Mines Safety, Dhanbad.
