The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) proposes to start Post Graduate Medical Courses in its hospital and action has been initiated to obtain the approval of Central Government and Medical Council of India (as per the prescribed procedure) to start the Post Graduate Medical courses w.e.f. the academic session 2010-11. Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for walk-in-interview for Teaching Faculty in proposed ESI Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (ESI PGIMSR) in ESI Hospital Basaidarapur, New Delhi-15 for appointment on deputation/contract basis.
The number of vacancies with Specialties-wise break-up are as given below:-
Post: Professor
Pay Scale: PB-4 with GP=Rs 10,000/- + NPA as admissible (For Medical Graduates)
Initial Total Pay: Rs 66, 250
Number of Posts: UR- 6, SC – 4, ST – 1, OBC – 6, TOTAL – 17
Post: Assoc. Professor
Pay Scale: PB-4 with GP=Rs. 8700/- + NPA as admissible (For Medical Graduates)
Initial Total Pay: Rs 57, 625
Number of Posts: UR- 2, SC – 4, ST – 1, OBC – 5, TOTAL – 12
Age Limit: Not exceeding 64 years as on 15th January, 2010
A. (a) GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPOINTMENT ON DEPUTATION BASIS
1. The selected officers will be entitled to normal terms of deputation as admissible
under the Govt. rules.
2. The application in the prescribed format as given below at Annexure-1 may be

3. The Advance Copy of application as per Annexure-I may be submitted directly by the
candidate before the due date or on the date of interview. The copy of the
application through proper channel, however, to be routed through the Department /
Organization concerned. The Department / Organization, while forwarding the
application will submit a certificate as per Annexure-II.
4. Candidates initially appointed on deputation basis may be considered for absorption
later on in accordance with the policy and requirement of ESIC.
(b) GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPOINTMENT ON CONTRACT BASIS
1. Officers retired from Central / State Govt. / PSU from the equivalent posts are eligible
to apply. Persons working in recognized/approved Private Medical Institutions having
sufficient experience at the desired level are also eligible to apply.
2. The candidates have to enclose the attested copies of all the relevant
certificates/testimonials i.e. educational qualification, teaching experience, Pension
Payment Order (PPO) etc.
