Age : 25 years as on 31.10.2009
Total Emoluments : Rs. 20000/- pm during training period of 3 months and after evaluation, Rs. 30000/- pm while inducting in regular departments depending upon their performance.
Qualification : Candidate should be graduate from a recognized university with fluency in English or Diploma/ Degree in Hotel Management/ Public Relations from a recognized university or National Council of Hotel Management. Overall personality of the candidate will be given additional weightage.

Managers (Personnel & Administration):
Candidates must be graduate with MBA(HR)/P.G.Diploma/Degree in Personnel Management and IR or Master/ Diploma in Social Work from a Govt. recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE and having at least 8 years experience in Executive position preferably in any Manufacturing/Production Industry of repute in handling IR matters, Contractors’ Workers issue etc. Degree in Law will be an added advantage

Candidates must be B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical/Mechanical/Power Plant Engineering. Degree of 4 (four) years duration with at least 65% or 7.25 DGPA marks as the case may be from a Govt. recognized University/College approved by AICTE. Energy Auditor/Energy Manager of BEE will be added qualification
Age limit 26 years as on 01.01.2009.
b) Graduate Engineer Trainees (Civil):
Candidates must be B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering Degree of 4 (four) years duration with at least 65% or 7.25 DGPA marks as the case may be from a Govt. recognized University/College approved by AICTE. PostGraduate Degree/Diploma in Project Management will be added qualification.
Age limit 26 years as on 01.01.2009.
N.B. : Final year appeared/appearing students may also apply subject to the production of the final results, in original, at the time of interview. In such cases percentage of marks / DGPA average of last 7 (seven) Semesters shall be considered as above.

i) Candidates must be Graduate in Engineering or Technology from a Govt. recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE with 2 (two) years experience in Supervisory or Managerial position in a factory under Safety Department.
Or
ii) Honours Graduate in Physics or Chemistry of a Govt. recognized University/Institute with 5 (five) years experience in Supervisory or Managerial position in a factory under Safety Department.
Or
iii) A Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology recognized by the State Govt. with 5 (five) years experience in Supervisory or Managerial position in a factory under Safety Department.

Nurse cum Midwives
Candidates must have Higher Secondary or equivalent in Science qualification with Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from the Govt. of West Bengal Health Service or AICTEApproved Course from any recognized Nursing Council and Registration with authorized Nursing Council. 1 (one) year workingexperience in OT and Inpatient Department will be preferred.
Age limit 30 years as on 01.01.2009.
Stipend/Pay Scale for the selected candidate (s) :
Sl.No.1 :
Pay Band No.4 of Rs.15,600-39,100/- with corresponding Grade Pay of Rs.6,600/ plusD.A. on Percentage (%) of Basic pay (Pay in the Pay Band + Grade Pay) and other allowances as per rules of theCorporation. They will be initially on probation for 1(one) year.

(a) & (b) – The Trainees will be given stipend of Rs.20,000/ per month during training period of 1(one) year and thereafter, if found suitable through Written Test and Interview, shall be absorbed initially with probationary period of 1(one) year as Assistant Manager (PS)/(Civil), as applicable, in the Pay Band No.4 of Rs.15,600 – 39,100/ with corresponding Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/ plus D.A. on Percentage (%) of Basic pay (Pay in the Pay Band + Grade Pay) and other allowances as per rules of theCorporation. Selected Candidates will be required to furnish a Bond of Rs.1,00,000/ at the time of joining as Trainee. After absorption, on successful completion of the training period they will have to serve the Company for a minimum period of 3 (three) years.

Pay Band No.4 of Rs.15,600-39,100/- with corresponding Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- and 4(a) same Pay Band with corresponding Grade Pay of Rs.6,600/- plus D.A. on Percentage (%) of Basic pay (Pay in the Pay Band + Grade Pay) and other allowances as per rules of theCorporation. They will be initially on probation for 1(one) year.
Sl.No.5 :
Pay Band No.3 of Rs.7,100 -37,600/- with corresponding Grade Pay of Rs.3,900/- plus D.A.on Percentage (%) of Basic pay (Pay in the Pay Band + Grade Pay) and other allowances as applicable to the Non-teaching staff as per rules of theCorporation. They will be initially on probation for 1(one) year.

Pay Band No.2 of Rs.6,300-20,200/- with corresponding Grade Pay of Rs.2,600/- plus D.A. on Percentage (%) of Basic pay (Pay in the Pay Band + Grade Pay) and other allowances as per rules of theCorporation. They will be initially on probation for 1(one) year
Other Facilities :
Quarters/H.R.A., Medical Benefit, Electricity Allowance, LTC/HTC,GPF/Pension, Gratuity, Leave Encashment Benefit, Leave and Holidays etc., as admissible as per rules.
Other Conditions :
Reservation norms for SC/ST/OBC/EC/PH Category candidates shall be followed as per State of West Bengal norms. Age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates, as admissible, except Sl.No.4 & 6. Age may also be relaxed for the Departmental candidates. Candidates from the States other than West Bengal have to apply as General Category Candidate. Service of each category is transferable.
The name of the candidates under Exempted Category (EC) for selection purpose shall be considered only from the list, if any, as would be received from the Directorate of Employment, Govt. ofWest Bengal, 67, Bentinck Street, Kolkata-700 069, as applicable.
