Designation : Professor
No. of Posts : 16
Pay Band : Rs.37400-67000 (PB-4) with AGP Rs.10000/-
Educational Qualification & Experience for Candidates from Teaching : Ph. D. Degree with First Class Degree at
Bachelor’s or Master’s level in appropriate Branch of Engineering/ Technology with 10 (ten) years experience in Teaching/ Industry/Research out of which 5 (five) years must be at the level of Reader/Associate Professor or equivalent grade.
Qualification & Experience for Candidates from Industry : First class Master’s degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology and Professional work, which is significant and can be recognized* as equivalent to Ph. D Degree in
appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology and 10 (ten) years experience of which at least 5 (five) years should be at a Senior Level comparable to that of Reader/Associate Professor.
Designation : Associate Professor
No.of Posts : 18
Pay Band : Rs.37400- 67000 (PB-4) with AGP Rs.9000/-
Qualification & Experience for Candidates from Teaching : Ph.D in respective discipline with First Class Degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in appropriate Branch of Engineering/ Technology with 5 (five) years experience in Teaching/
Research/ Industry at the level of Lecturer/Assistant Professor or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the Ph.D. degree.
Qualification & Experience for Candidates from Industry : First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology and Significant professional work which is significant and can be recognized* as equivalent to Ph. D
and with Industrial/ Professional experience of 5 (five) years in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer/Assistant Professor.
Designation : Assistant Professor
No. of Posts: 33
Pay Band : Rs.15600- 39100 (PB-3) with AGP Rs.6000/-
Minimum Qualification and Experience : Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology or equivalent with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level. The candidates possessing Ph.D. degree will be
given preference in recruitment for the post of Assistant Professor.
Application Fee: Rs.600/- (Rupees six hundred only) for General/OBC applicants and Rs.300/- for SC/ST/PH applicants.
