Punjab & Sind Bank invites applications from Indian Citizens for appointment in Clerical Cadre (Clerk cum Cashier) for different States/UTs :

Last date for Receipt of Application : 23/02/2010
Last date for Receipt of Application from candidates residing in far flung areas : 03/03/2010
Tentative Date of Written Test : 23/05/2010

Clerk cum Cashier : 250 posts (UR-113, SC-50, ST-6, OBC-81)
Pay Scale : Rs. 4410/- – 13210/-
Age : 18-28 years

Application Fee : Rs.300/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PH/Ex-SM/) by Demand Draft/ Pay Order favouring “Punjab & Sind Bank A/C Clerical Recruitment Project – 2010-11” payable at ‘Mumbai’ only along with
application. Candidate’s Name, Address and Name of the Centre should be written on the reverse of the
Demand Draft/ Pay Order.

General Instructions:
(a) Candidates serving in Government/Public Sector Undertakings (including Banks and Financial Institutions) are advised to submit “No Objection Certificate” from the employer at the time of interview, failing which their candidature may not be considered and traveling expenses, if any admissible, will not be reimbursed.
(b) MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED AND THE APPLICATION FEE FORFEITED.
(c) Candidates should ensure that they have met with the eligibility criteria and complied with the requirements and adhered to the instructions and terms and conditions contained in this notification. Candidates are therefore advised to carefully read the Notification and complete Application Form and submit the same as per the instructions given in this regard.
(d) Only those candidates willing to serve anywhere in India should apply.
(e) Any dispute arising out of this advertisement shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the Courts situated in New Delhi.
(f) No candidate is permitted to use calculators, mobile phones, pagers or any other instruments in the Examination Hall.
(g) Canvassing in any form will entail disqualification for the recruitment process.
(h)In case of candidates belonging to OBC category, the certificate inter-alia must specify that the candidate does not belong to “Creamy Layer” section excluded from the benefits of the reservations for Other Backward Classes in Civil Post & Services under Government of India. OBC certificate should not be more than one year old as on the date of application.
