Indian Navy SSC Officer in Technical Branches Course Commencing

Applications are invited from unmarried Candidates who fulfill eligibility conditions of Nationality as laid down by the Government of India for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Technical (Engineering (E) & Electrical (L) Branches of the India Navy for course commencing July 2010.

Last Date : 09.02.2010

Eligibility Conditions :

Age : Technical (General Service): 19 1/2 to 25 years Branch (’E’ & ‘L’) (i.e. born between 02 July 1985 to 01 Jan Submarine Cadre (’E’ & ‘L’): 19 1/2 to 25 years (i.e. born between 02 July 1985 to 01 Jan 1991 both dates inclusive)
Naval Architecture Cadre: 21 to 25 years (i.e. born between 02 July 1985 to 01 Jan 1989 both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification : Four years BE/B.Tech Engineering Degree qualified with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university with one of the following streams:

Technical Branch (General Service) : Engineering (E) Branch ‘Mechanical’ or ‘Production’ or ‘Marine’ or ‘Control’ or ‘Aeronautical’ (Eligible only men) Electrical Branch (L) ‘Electrical’ or ‘Electronics’ or ‘Avionics’ or ‘Instrumentation & control’ or ‘Telecommunication’ (Eligible only Men)

Submarine Cadre :
Engineering Branch: Mechanical (Only Men Eligible)

Electrical Branch : ‘Electrical’ or ‘Electronics’ or ‘Control’ or ‘Telecommunication’ (Only Men Eligible)

Naval Architecture Cadre :
Naval Architecture Cadre: ‘Naval Architecture’ or ‘Mechanical’ or ‘Civil’ or ‘Aeronautical’ or ‘Metallurgy’ (Men & Women are Eligible)
