Recruitment of Assistant Surgeon (Dental) by Tamil Nadu PSC
Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has had a glorious past of 75 years. During 1923, the Lee Commission had recommended setting up of a Central Public Service Commission in India, but it did not give much thought to the need of establishing similar commissions in provinces.
Applications are invited upto 5.45 p.m on 19-03-2010 for direct recruitment to the vacancies in the following posts.

Pay : (PB-3): Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Age : (as on 01.07.2010): Below 30 years.
Qualification : Candidates should possess the following or its equivalent qualification on the date of this Notification, viz. 17.02.2010:
A Degree in Dental Surgery of any University or Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its Grant.
AND
Must be a Registered Medical Practitioner within the meaning of Clause(f) of Section 2 of the Dentist Act, 1948 (Central Act 16 of 1948).
Persons claiming equivalence of qualification should enclose evidence for such claims.
Examination Fee : Rs.125/-(For further details refer para 2 under part -Ill of Information Brochure and for Examination
fee concessions refer para 12 of the ‘Instructions, etc., to candidates’). Candidates (other than those who apply Online) should inform the Counter Clerk of the Post Office their OMR application Number for obtaining the Postal Receipt.
How To Apply : Filled in applications must be sent to the Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Commercial Taxes Annexure Building, Greams Road, Chennai- 600 006 well in advance so as to reach the Commission’s Office before 5.45 p.m. on 19-03-2010.
