The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (Act No. XXXVIII of 1949) for the regulation of the profession of Chartered Accountants in India. During its nearly six decades of existence, ICAI has achieved recognition as a premier accounting body not only in the country but also globally, for its contribution in the fields of education, professional development, maintenance of high accounting, auditing and ethical standards.ICAI now is the second largest accounting body in the whole world.
ICAI invites applications at the following levels for Examination Department :
Designation : Deputy Secretary
Required Qualification : Ph.D / MBA / M.Com/ M.Sc. / M.A
Upper Age Limit : 40 years
Post Qualification Experience required : 5/8 years post qualification experience out of which 3/4 years in examination activities of the University / Deemed University / Central and State Educational Boards in the pay scale of 12000-16500 / 8000-13500.
Present Total Monthly Emoluments of minimum Basic Pay and other usual Allowances : Rs. 51,244/- p.m. in the pay scale of 14300-400-18300.
Designation : Assistant Secretary
Required Qualification : Ph.D / MBA / M.Com/ M.Sc. / M.A.
Upper Age Limit : 40 years
Post Qualification Experience required : 3/5 years post qualification experience out of which 2/3 years in examination activities of the University / Deemed University / Central and State Educational Boards in the pay scale of 8000-13500.
Present Total Monthly Emoluments of minimum Basic Pay and other usual Allowances : Rs. 37,130/- p.m. in the pay scale of 10000-325-15200.
Designation : Executive Officer
Required Qualification : First class Post Graduate with excellent academic record in MBA / M.Com / M. Sc. / M.A.
Upper Age Limit : 30 years
Post Qualification Experience required : 3 years of post qualification experience including 2 years in the examination activities of the University / Deemed University / Central and State Educational Boards in the equivalent grades of 5500-9000 or above (pre-revised).
Present Total Monthly Emoluments of minimum Basic Pay and other usual Allowances : Rs. 32,338/- p.m. in the pay scale of 8500-275-13725.
Designation : Section Officer / Assistant
Required Qualification : A second-class (50%) master’s degree in commerce /BCA with 60% marks /Accounting Technician for Section officer / A graduate preferably in commerce with minimum of 60% in the aggregate for Assistant.
Upper Age Limit : 30 years
Post Qualification Experience required : 2-3 years of post qualification experience including 1 year in the examination activities of the University / Deemed University / Central and State Educational Boards in the equivalent grades.
Present Total Monthly Emoluments of minimum Basic Pay and other usual Allowances : Rs. 22,675/- p.m. in the pay scale of 6500-200-10500.
Working knowledge of Computer is must for all the above posts.
