Central Electricity Supply Utility of Orissa (CESU), a leading Power Distribution Utility engaged in the distribution of electricity approximately with 11 lakh consumers spread over eight revenue districts in the State of
Orissa, invites applications from the eligible candidates for the following position in continuation to earlier Advertisement No. 23322 dated 19.8.2009 published in The Samaj & Times of India on 21.8.2009 :

CATEGORY –II: MANAGEMENT TRAINEE DIPLOMA ENGINEER(ELECTRICAL)

01. Qualification: The candidate must be a citizen of India having Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at-least 60% marks in the qualifying examination from a Recognized Institution. The passing of Oriya Language Test equivalent to ME Standard is essential. Basic knowledge in computer operation is essential. Preference shall also be given to the candidates having experience in Power Distribution Sector.

02. Age: The candidate should be above 21 years of age and below 32 years of age as on 01.03.2010.

The eligible candidates shall be required to appear for written examination or / and personal interview at their own cost. The date and venue of which shall be intimated in due course. On selection, they shall be appointed as Management Trainees for a minimum period of one year. The training period may be extended for another six months to one year at the discretion of the Management. During the training period, they shall be paid monthly-consolidated stipend @ Rs.8,000/-. On successful completion of training, they shall be placed as Jr. Manager (Ele) on probation in the Pay Scale of Rs.9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4,200/- in E-2 Grade with D.A , H.R.A, Medical Allowance and other perquisites as per Rules of the Utility.

03. Total Approximate Requirement – 31 Posts. (Previous Advt. – 9 Nos. + Current Advt. – 22Nos.)

Eligible candidates may submit applications in the following format neatly typed or hand written and duly filled in along with attested copies of certificates and mark sheets (starting from Matriculation on wards), documents in support of relevant experience wherever necessary, two attested passport size recent photograph, two self addressed stamped envelopes should be addressed to
