A. MANUFACTURING PLANT AT KANAGALA, BELGAUM DISTRICT
The Kanagala plant in Belgaum, Karnataka commenced its operation with production of condoms using Japanese technology, underwent diversification in with the tabletting facility for birth control pills – Mala-D/N and the formulation and tabletting of Saheli (Centchroman) the indigenous, non-steroidal once-a-week pill, tabletting of emergency Contraceptive pills, manufacturing facility for Centchroman bulk drug and commercial manufacturing of women healthcare products. The manufacturing unit has GMP as well as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications.
