Applications are invited from the citizens of India on prescribed OMR application form for the following vacancies to be filled on the basis of Himachal Pradesh Forest Service (Assistant Conservator of Forest) Examination, 2010. The details of the posts is as under:-

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(i) Candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Science or Engineering of any recognised University or its equivalent with atleast one of the following subjects:-
Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Application/Science, Engineering (Agriculture/Chemical/ Civil/ Computer/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical), Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science,Zoology.
OR
Honours certificate holders of any of the Government run Forest Rangers Colleges provided they are sponsored by the state. Provided that in case of graduates with pure Mathematics, Statistics, they must have taken Science subject in their 10+2 or equivalent examination.
Physical Standard:
For Male
Height: 163 cms.
Chest: 79 cms without expansion &
84 cms with expansion.
Capacity to walk: 25 kms in 04 hours.
For Female
Height: 150 cms.
Chest: 74 cms without expansion & 79
cms with expansion.
Capacity to walk: 16 kms in 04 hours.
