Applications are invited from male Indian citizens, resident of the following States for filling up of vacancies for the year 2010 on temporary basis likely to be permanent, shown against each State for the post of Constable (General Duty) Group ‘C’ in the Indo Tibetan Border Police Force. The post has all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the ITBPF Act and Rules. The last date of receipt of application is 22-09-2010 (22nd September 2010) for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and
Kashmir State, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of HP, for which last date is 29-09-2010 (29th September-2010)
Pay Scale: Pay Scale – Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month
AGE: Between 18 to 23 Years (Cut off date for determining the age will be 01 August 2010
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Matriculation or 10th Class pass from a recognized Board/ University/National Open School (National Institute of Open School)
